The K-RAT II PRO is the successor to the successful and widely used K-RAT II, featuring a full GRP construction. The new ‘PRO’ model meets the latest requirements in terms of both construction and aerodynamic design, whilst offering high strength. The model is suitable for high-speed flights and aerobatics, and is equally at home in thermals (thanks to its controlled rudder) as it is as a fun and training model. Thanks to its balanced and forgiving flight characteristics, it is also the perfect choice for pilots making the switch from 2-axis to 3-axis models. Not only less experienced pilots, but also ambitious model pilots, will find an all-round model suitable for almost any weather condition and flying scenario. The K-RAT II PRO can be flown as a stepping stone to hotliners.
The model features a number of outstanding design details, such as a dedicated servo bay on the underside of the fuselage for the elevator and rudder servos, wings that can be attached laterally using a 10mm CFRP round rod, ‘Multilock’ wing locking mechanism and a very high degree of pre-assembly, particularly in our PNP version, as all that remains is to install the required battery, ESC and receiver. The ARF version is also largely pre-assembled and can therefore be quickly built up using your own components.
